We are a small company based in the midlands and specialize in ceramic tile fixing, specifically geometric and encaustic designs. We have been supplying tile fixing services to the midlands and further afield for over 40 years. We have a wide range experience of domestic and industrial tilefixing including: heavy-duty chemical resistant flooring, swimming pools, tile murals and notably geometric flooring, conservation and restoration. Most of the projects we have been involved in during the past decade or so have focused on geometric flooring, whether new installation or restoration projects. Geometric Floor laying
We have over 40 years experience fixing geometric flooring and have built a solid reputation as a small friendly company specializing in this craft. We are recommended by H & R Johnsons and Maw & Co., both long established and reputable geometric tile manufacturers. Because geometric floors generally do not come off the shelf - the time schedule between choosing a design, having drawings made and having the tiles cut and delivered often takes several months. Restoration Services
Look under the hallway carpet of a victorian house and you may find a magnificent geometric floor. Often however you may find a floor that has not been maintained properly, especially since they are generally a couple of hundred years old. We have carried out restoration work for many private clients and larger organisations such as Englsih Heritage. Patching existing floors is a craft and has to be done with a lot of cvare to ensure damage limitation. Cleaning agents need to be carefully selected to ensure these old floors are not at risk of chemical damage. Protective solutions need to be applied with skill and knowledge if they are to achieve their purpose and not bring about any detrimental effects to the beauty of the ceramics.
